Since winning the World Series during the 2023 season, it has been tough for the Texas Rangers to continue their success. Over the past two years, they have failed to even make the postseason.
And there is no denying they are coming into a tough season. The Seattle Mariners look great on paper, and many are expecting the Houston Astros to get back to their winning ways this year.
So, if the Rangers want to find success this season, they are going to have to be hot from the start. They will also need to stay away from the injury bug, something that has been tough for guys like Corey Seager over the past few years.

The Rangers are gambling on a massive trio of bounce-back seasons
The Rangers have lost some heavy hitters during the offseason. They will be without Marcus Semien, Adolis Garcia, and Jonah Heim. However, they did add Brandon Nimmo, MacKenzie Gore, and Andrew McCutchen.
The club's offense will be led by Seager, but it is the ones after him that could be the reason for a boom or bust season. Bleacher Report's Tim Kelly puts the pressure on Josh Jung, Joc Pederson, and Jake Burger to lock in this season.
"Corey Seager is, when healthy, going to hit. Evan Carter is an excellent player. But this lineup is reliant on bounce-back seasons from some combination of Josh Jung, Joc Pederson, and Jake Burger."
None were all that great in 2025, especially Pederson, who had some of his season derailed after fracturing his right hand after being hit by a pitch in late May.
He has not looked all that great in the spring, and fans are hoping he can turn it on soon, because if he doesn't, this could be a long season for the Texas faithful.
