The Baltimore Ravens lost 28-24 to the New England Patriots on Sunday despite leading by 11 points in the fourth quarter. It was Lamar Jackson and Co.'s eighth loss, and they no longer have their fate in their hands.

Former Detroit Lions quarterback Dan Orlovsky did not mince words while talking about the Ravens' performance this season.

"I think this is the most disappointing team in the NFL this season, and when you're that, something will have to change," Orlovsky said on Monday, via "Get Up."

"One of the problems is this is far too often a common occurrence where we sit there and go like, 'How come Derrick Henry is not getting the ball more?' This team, unequivocally, was the most talented roster in the AFC and rightfully so the AFC Super Bowl pick."

The Ravens had a 12-5 record in 2024; however, they lost in the divisional round to the Buffalo Bills. The expectations were through the roof entering this season but John Harbaugh's team struggled with injuries and got off to a 1-5 start.

Jackson and Derrick Henry tried to bring the team back on track and had some great wins. However, with just two games remaining, Baltimore has to rely on other teams to make it to the postseason.

The Ravens need to win out and hope that the Pittsburgh Steelers fail to clinch the AFC North and secure their playoff spot on Sunday. They cannot make it to the postseason via the wild-card route.

John Harbaugh on the Ravens' playoff odds

Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh remains hopeful about his team's chances of making the playoffs.

"I expect our team to keep fighting and try to win two games," Harbaugh said during Sunday's postgame press conference. "That's what I expect our team to do. I know they will. I know we'll come out fighting, because that's what we've done all year."

The Ravens will face the Green Bay Packers on Saturday. If they lose, their season is over. The Steelers will take on the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, and if Aaron Rodgers and Co. win, Baltimore's season is also over.

In both results go in their favor, the Ravens' season finale against Pittsburgh would be a virtual knockout. The winner will win the AFC North and head to the postseason.
