On some holidays, the sports world slows down a bit. Halloween is not one of them.
Between a full college football slate, NBA games and Game 7 of the WNBA Finals, there was plenty of action on Saturday, allowing fans, athletes and more to celebrate Halloween out-and-about.
A collection of athletes were feeling particularly spooky this October, either wearing costumes to their games on Saturday, or showcasing their all-out looks on social media.
Here are some of the best 2026 Halloween costumes from around the sports world.

Victor Wembanyama, Spurs
By now, after a few years in the NBA, fans have begun to anticipate what Victor Wembanyama will show up as for Halloween each October. In 2023, he showed up as "Slender Man," a fitting look. In 2024, he was No-Face from "Spirited Away."
After a one-year hiatus because the Spurs didn't play on Halloween in 2025, he returned with another costume before taking on the Suns on Saturday.
Wembanyama was dressed as Geralt of Rivia from the series "The Witcher."
"Why is it my favorite? Because it feels as much like a fantasy book, epic fantasy, as a dive into human psychology, and emotions," Wembanyama recently said. "The characters are so deep. After reading seven books, it's like I know these characters like they're friends or family members. It's a great, great series. My favorite."
