Life without Anthony Edwards has been an adjustment for the Minnesota Timberwolves, and it doesn't get easier as they close out a back-to-back with a trip to San Antonio to face the Spurs on Saturday.
With Edwards set to miss about two months after undergoing knee surgery Thursday, Minnesota will be forced to piece it together on offense for a while. Jonathan Kuminga and Jaden Daniels should continue to see their share of the ball increase in the coming weeks as LaMelo Ball looks for additional options.
Scoring won't be the only problem Saturday. Victor Wembanyama is heating up for San Antonio, averaging 29.3 points during the Spurs' current three-game winning streak, so Rudy Gobert will have his hands full with that Halloween matchup.
Can the Timberwolves get back on track Saturday or will the Spurs keep rolling? Here's when and where to watch.
