The Houston Texans want some help for Joe Mixon.
It never hurts to have multiple good running backs, especially as they enter the veteran stages of their careers.
The Texans are "eying" another long-time NFL stalwart in free agency, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler said on Sunday on SportsCenter.
"I was told that he's hoping to sign here soon, and maybe he gets something done before a minicamp gets into a team," Fowler said. "... I'm told Houston could be one to watch here. They've been looking at that running back market, maybe adding somebody with Joe Mixon."

Chubb is far from his old self, but he'd be a fun addition next to Mixon to see if it pans out.
After multiple injuries in recent years, Chubb could benefit from the reduced workload he'd likely see next to Mixon.
The Texans would also be a chance for Chubb to join a likely playoff team for the latter stages of his NFL career.
Fowler said the Browns aren't totally out of the picture to bring Chubb back, but it makes sense for the veteran to go somewhere with a less crowded depth chart. Houston would certainly fit that bill.
