A few hours ago, Supercell announced the shocking conclusion of Squad Busters development via a post on their official website. Based on the announcement, Supercell will release the title's final update in December 2025, which will include part of the content shared in the recent roadmap. However, following that, the game will witness its final days in early 2025 as Supercell aims to close the title by mid-2026.

In the announcement, Supercell mentioned how the title failed to meet the expectations of the developers and global players. While "the introduction of Heroes was the boldest game change of this scale in Supercell’s live game history", the core problems could not be solved, propelling the developers to make such a shocking decision.

However, for users, the developers have announced a new purchase transfer option that will help them smoothly transition into a different Supercell title.

What do you need to know about the Squad Busters purchase transfer option?

According to Supercell, in-app purchases have been made unavailable from 11:00 AM UTC on October 30, 2025. Players who made purchases during 2025 will be able to request a transfer of their value to a different Supercell game (including Clash Royale, Brawl Stars, Clash of Clans, Boom Beach, or Hay Day).

The transfers can be made through Player Support starting from November 10, 2025, and will remain available until the end of the year.

To claim the transfer, users must provide their game name, player name, and player tag from the specific Supercell game they want to transfer to, and follow the steps mentioned below:

  • Open Settings in Squad Busters
  • Tap More Settings
  • Tap Help and Support
  • Tap the Blue Chat icon on the top right
  • Tap the “Leave a message” button
  • Tap on “Transfer in-game currency”
  • Follow the instructions

Additionally, users can claim free bundles through the Supercell Store for other titles, based on their total Squad Busters playtime.

The lucrative themed cosmetics (exclusive since launch) are also being reintroduced, giving users one last chance to claim them and take Squad Busters memorabilia with them to the game they are switching to.

Like the transfers, the rewards will be available starting November 10, 2025, and can be obtained until the end of 2025.

Meanwhile, those moving to an alternate Supercell game for the first time must link their Supercell ID before November 10th.

As global players remain in shock, Supercell has announced a Q&A session on November 13, 2025. They can submit their queries by filling out this form.
