Stranger rapes 12-year-old girl in Brooklyn public housing stairwell, cops say

A stranger raped a 12-year-old girl in a heinous attack in the stairwell of a Brooklyn public housing building Thursday, cops and sources said.

The predator approached the preteen around 5:45 p.m. in the stairwell of the Cooper Houses building on Morgan Avenue near Jackson Street in Williamsburg, according to authorities and sources.

He ordered her to bend over as he disturbingly threatened, “I’m going to violate you,” the sources said.

He then raped the girl, only fleeing when another person appeared on the stairwell, according to the sources.

The young victim was taken to a local area hospital, where she is listed in stable condition.

The attacker – who was still on the loose Friday – is described as a man in his 20s with distinct gold-tipped dreadlocks, last seen wearing a black T-shirt, the sources said.
