The First Lady of Texas football then spoke about the event and gave shout-outs to her host, designer, and others. She wrote,

"What an unforgettable evening ✨Being invited to celebrate Diwali a festival so rich in culture, light, and tradition, was truly a gift. I’ve traveled to many places and experienced countless celebrations, but this one felt different & deeply special."

She continued,

"A huge thank you to my dear friend @toralbala for welcoming my sister and I into such a beautiful celebration of light and love. My custom look for the night was handcrafted by @priyankasinghdesign and let’s just say this skirt had some weight to its beauty.✨ This was the first of many cultural experiences I plan to embrace around the world, and I’m already inspired for the next one. XOLO 🤍"

Loreal Sarkisian has earned a reputation for being one of the best-dressed people at Texas Longhorns games. She regularly supports her husband, Steve, as he attempts to bring a national championship to Texas.

Texas defeated Mississippi State despite Loreal Sarkisian's absence

Loreal Sarkisian couldn't pull off her usual Longhorns game day fit on Saturday. However, that didn't stop the Longhorns from recording an overtime win over the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

The Longhorns needed to dig deep after starting quarterback Arch Manning left the game with an apparent injury. The dual-threat QB posted a stat line of 346 passing yards, three touchdowns, and one interception before exiting early in overtime.

Backup quarterback Matthew Caldwell replaced Manning and completed a touchdown pass to Emmett Mosley to win the game. It was a hard-fought contest for Steve Sarkisian's side.

Next up for the Longhorns is a home game against an in-form Vanderbilt Commodores. It's the first in a string of dicey games to close out the regular season. The Longhorns have to face three ranked teams in their last four contests, namely Vanderbilt, Georgia, and Texas A&M.
