Pittsburgh Steelers safety DeShon Elliott reacted to the report about New York Jets owner Woody Johnson trying to shut down the annual NFLPA report cards. Johnson, worth $3.9 billion, pushed the NFL to file a grievance against the NFL Players Association to ask the union to stop its annual team report cards, arguing that it violates the collective bargaining agreement.
Elliott reacted on social media, adding several laughing emojis.

"At the NFL league meeting in March, New York Jets chairman Woody Johnson -- who along with Art Rooney of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Robert Kraft of the New England Patriots, Michael Bidwill of the Arizona Cardinals and David Tepper of the Carolina Panthers received ownership grades of D or worse -- called the survey 'totally bogus' and hinted that it violated the CBA.They added:
"Johnson said he took issue with 'how they collected the information [and] who they collected it from. [It] was supposed to be according to the agreement we have with the league. It's supposed to be a process [where] we have representatives and they have representatives, so we know that it's an honest survey. "And that was violated, in my opinion. I'm going to leave it at that, but I think there are a lot of owners that looked at that survey and said this is not fair, it's not balanced, it's not every player, it's not even representative of the players."NFL fans blasted Woody Johnson over his desire to stop the report cards, noting that it was good that owners know what their players think of the organization and use it to their benefit.
The Jets, valued at $8.1 billion by Forbes, are the eighth-most valuable team in the NFL in 2025. Yet, players weren't so happy with the state of the organization after the 2024 season.
Jets players gave Woody Johnson an "F" in 2025 NFLPA report card
Woody Johnson and the New York Jets didn't get the best grades in the NFLPA 2025 report cards. For instance, they received a C- in treatment of families and food/dining area, a B+ in nutritionist/dietician, a D+ in locker room, a C in training room, a C in training staff, a C+ in weight room, a B in strength coaches, a C+ in team travels, a B in head coach and an F in ownership.
That "F" can be the answer to why Johnson is behind this move.
