@AdamSchefter It’s honestly time to see what we have in Smith, but I’m not sure that this is the game for it with Denver’s defense and his inexperience
@AdamSchefter Tough break for the Chiefs! Pacheco's knee injury is a big loss, but Kareem Hunt stepping up could shake things up. Hoping for a speedy recovery—Chiefs need him back for that playoff push! #ChiefsKingdom #NFL
@AdamSchefter The Chiefs can act like this is a routine injury call, but everyone knows their whole offense collapses the moment Pacheco is out because they never bothered to build a real run game behind him.
@AdamSchefter Rest up, Pacheco! The Chiefs need him fully healthy for the playoff push
@AdamSchefter Dont matter Chiefs gonna dominate
Isiah Pacheco suffered an MCL sprain during their 28-7 victory over the Washington Commanders in Week 8. This resulted in him missing out on Week 9's clash against the Dallas Cowboys when the Chiefs suffered a 28-21 loss on the road. The RB did not participate in a single practice session this week.
Before his injury, Isiah Pacheco tallied 329 yards and one touchdown rushing with one receiving touchdown in eight games. He has been an integral part of the Chiefs' offense since being drafted with the 251st overall pick in 2022.
When will Isiah Pacheco return?
The running back has not yet been placed on the injured reserve list by the Chiefs. Thus, he is not expected to be out long-term and might make a comeback in the coming days.
However, Andy Reid's team has not yet provided an official timeline on Pacheco's return. Apart from him, they have Kareem Hunt, Brashard Smith, and Elijah Mitchell as options on the running back depth chart. Hunt is expected to replace Pacheco in Week 11.
The Chiefs (5-4) vs Broncos (8-2) game kicks off at 4:25 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on CBS. Can they emerge victorious against their division leaders?
