Jalen Brunson went off for 37 points, and Karl-Anthony Towns added a strong 15-point, 18-rebound double-double. But despite their heroic efforts, the Knicks could not pull out the win.

Norman Powell led Miami in scoring, with 29 points. Whereas Bam Adebayo put up a 19-point, 13-rebound double-double, playing a major role in the Heat’s 115-107 victory.

Since that first meeting, the Miami Heat have won six out of their next ten games. The Knicks put together a solid run as well, going 5-3, which included a five-game winning streak.
