Charlotte Flair walked out of her team for Survivor Series: WarGames due to her rough history with a certain 29-year-old star, whom she called "a snake" and said she couldn't trust.

This week on the 14th November episode of SmackDown, Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky were out in the aftermath of the RAW main event, where The Kabuki Warriors dethroned Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss to become Tag Team Champions, courtesy of help from Nia Jax. It looked like the team for WarGames was set, with Flair, Bliss, Ripley, and Sky going up against Asuka, Kairi Sane, Nia Jax, and Lash Legend. However, as things turned out, it wasn't that simple.

Charlotte Flair has a long history with the 29-year-old Rhea Ripley, whom she faced once at WrestleMania 36 and then at WrestleMania 39. While she beat Ripley in 2020, she lost to her at WrestleMania 39 in what many considered one of the best matches of that year, and one of the best women's matches in WWE history. However, her bitterness over Ripley never faded over two-and-a-half years later. This was the point of contention, and when Flair and Bliss got in the ring, The Queen hugged Iyo Sky, but not Rhea Ripley.

Charlotte Flair told Rhea Ripley to her face that, because of their history, she believes she is a snake and can't trust her. Flair also said she is aware Ripley feels the same about her and doesn't blame her. In a stunning moment, she told Alexa Bliss that she trusts her as a friend, but couldn't participate in the WarGames match due to her history with Ripley. She walked out, leaving everybody stunned.

Alexa Bliss was by the ropes, confused at what unfolded, while Flair kept looking back as she walked away. It was quite the ending to the segment, and it abruptly ended right then and there despite all the hype with Ripley and Sky in the beginning. It certainly adds a layer to this story.
