Sportskeeda's Choice: 2025 TNA Knockout of the Year

To say TNA Wrestling's Knockouts Division was snake bitten this year would be an understatement. 2025 saw the Knockouts World Title keelhauled by two different WWE stars, as well as the Men's World Title and, most recently, the International Title.

A shocking and frankly disappointing controversy led to the sudden departure of a name considered the new foundation of the Knockouts earlier this year. And to add to that pile of issues, the Knockouts World Title was suddenly vacated soon after this when Ash by Elegance had to retire from in-ring action without much warning.

While this has allowed several Knockouts to rise up to the challenge, like Indi Hartwell, Dani Luna, and new champion Lei Ying Li, it wouldn't be fair to move into the next year and the success of the current class without taking a fond look back at what was achieved by Ash by Elegance. In what turned out to be the final in-ring run of her career, Ash went out on top, in more ways than one.

Why Ash by Elegance was TNA's Best Knockout of 2025

2025 was complicated for TNA for many reasons, but it was a great year to be a part of the Elegance Brand. Coming off of 2024, where Ash maintained a position just outside of the Knockouts World Title, the Elegance Brand exploded.

When Ash first arrived in TNA Wrestling, she carried the baggage of her time as Dana Brooke in WWE. Critics were quick to judge her hiring. They were silenced soon after, however, as Ash would deliver some of the best work of her career. Feuds with Jordynne Grace, Masha Slamovich, Spitfire, and The IInspiration forced even her harshest haters to appreciate how far she'd come.

The additions of Heather Reckless and Maggie Moore as Heather and M by Elegance fully turned the "brand" into a full-on dominant faction. The Elegance Brand feuded with Spitfire over the Knockouts World Tag Titles, leading to the group's first championship victory back at Sacrifice in March 2025. All three of the Elegance trio, managed by the Personal Concierge, managed to successfully defend the gold on several occasions, giving them a strong six-month reign.

Not only did the Elegance Brand win the Knockouts World Tag Team Titles, but Ash By Elegance defeated Slamovich and Jacy Jayne to bring the TNA Knockouts World Championship back home. In a year where NXT names constantly played keep away with TNA gold, Ash was the first to return some of it to its rightful place. The Elegance Brand carried the Knockouts Division through a tough period, and it all came off the back of Ash by Elegance.

Not long after winning the Knockouts World Title, she vacated it and essentially retired from in-ring action as a double champion. Thankfully, we still see the vet working with the Elegance Brand as a manager, alongside the former George Iceman.

Congratulations to Ash by Elegance on a strong 2025 and, if this is truly the end, a wonderful wrap on a great in-ring career. Stay Elegant.
