South Korea’s DRX ranks first as Day 1 of BMIC 2025 ends

Day 1 of the BGMI International Cup (BMIC) 2025 took place on October 31. South Korean club DRX secured first place in the overall standings after six matches. The team accumulated 74 points, which includes 44 eliminations and two Chicken Dinners. Nebula Esports from India ranked second with 51 points and one Chicken Dinner.

Team Soul also made a great start to the BMIC, as they ended the matchday in the third spot with 46 points and 30 eliminations. True Rippers, led by Jelly, grabbed the fourth position with 42 points. NS RedForce from South Korea managed 39 points and ranked fifth in the table.

Eight Indian teams, four Japanese, and four South Korean teams are battling it out in BMIC 2025. The tournament is being held in Delhi with a ₹1 crore prize pool. Two teams from the event will qualify for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2025.

Dplus had a slow run in the initial three matches of the day. The experienced squad made a comeback in the last three encounters and moved up to seventh place with 38 points. Mysterious4 started the BMIC with a Chicken Dinner but stumbled in their last five games and finished seventh with 33 points.

REIGNITE from Japan was eighth with 33 points. Madkings and Gods Reign ranked ninth and 10th with 31 and 30 points, respectively. Jecheon Phalanx ended up in 11th with 27 points.

K9 Esports, led by Omega, had a mediocre start to the BMIC, as the side finished 12th with 27 points. Reject from Japan also had a disappointing start to the event. The club was 13th with 26 points.

Orangutan struggled on the opening day. The Indian squad ranked 14th with 25 points. The club recently clinched the BGMI Showdown (BMSD). Japanese teams MTR and CAG were in the bottom two with 23 and 21 points respectively. These teams will try to bounce back in the remaining 12 matches of the International Cup 2025.
