The Mustangs earned an 11 seed and will face Miami (Ohio) in the First Four. It tees up a possible trip to the First Round to take on No. 6 Tennessee. SMU entered Selection Sunday squarely on the bubble as a possible last four in and ended it with their dreams fulfilled.
