Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby attended the Toronto Blue Jays’ heartbreaking World Series Game 7 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers on Saturday.

Former NHLer P.K. Subban was also in attendance and later shared a glimpse on Instagram, featuring Sidney Crosby, legendary Canadian sprinter Andre De Grasse, and others.

"These moments in sports bring family, friends, and all of us together! Thank you @bluejays for best run since 93! & Congrats to uncle @snoopdogg & @dodgers for giving us a special series! Tough one...but what a run! Can't wait for the next one!" Subban captioned the post.

The 2025 World Series featured an epic seven-game showdown between the defending champions, the Los Angeles Dodgers, and the Toronto Blue Jays. Dodgers' Yoshinobu was named World Series MVP.

The Dodgers, seeking their second straight title and first repeat since the 1999-2000 New York Yankees, rallied from a 3-2 deficit to beat the Blue Jays 4-3 in the series at Rogers Centre. This marked the Dodgers' ninth championship overall.

Sidney Crosby reflects on tough loss to Winnipeg Jets

Sidney Crosby shared his thoughts following a tough 5-2 loss to the Winnipeg Jets on Saturday. In his post-game media availability, Crosby stressed that the team has to find a way to stay patient and understand there is a lot of hockey left.

“You get down, you start chasing the game a little bit,” said Crosby via NHL. “I think it's tough to fight that, but you've got to find a way to stay patient. You've got to understand there's a lot of hockey left. So, unfortunately, they got to build on that lead.”

Blake Lizotte and Crosby were the goal scorers for the Penguins in the defeat. With his goal, Crosby increased his goal tally to 13 this season, tied with Evgeni Malkin as the club's leading scorer.

Crosby and the Penguins play the Toronto Maple Leafs on Monday. The puck at Scotiabank Arena drops at 7:30 p.m. ET.
