Carson Beck and the Miami Hurricanes are days away from facing off against the Ohio State Buckeyes in the College Football Playoffs quarterfinals. They enter the game as underdogs versus the defending national champions.

The Miami Hurricanes are a game removed from their 10-3 win over the Texas A&M Aggies in the CFP first round. The game was decided mainly by the Hurricanes' resolute defense.

Star quarterback Carson Beck finished with a stat line of 103 passing yards and one touchdown. It was good enough to punch in a ticket to face off against the Ryan Day-coached Buckeyes.

Carson Beck and the Hurricanes have lost just two games in the ongoing campaign. Those losses occurred against the Louisville Cardinals and SMU Mustangs. Up next are the reigning national champions.
