Saquon Barkley's fiancée Anna Congdon gets enthusiastic as Taylor Rooks gets 100% real about her tryst with NBA in 'Schön! Magazine'

Saquon Barkley's friend, Sports Journalist Taylor Rooks announced her feature in "Schön! Magazine," where she talked about her journey in sports media. On Tuesday, she posted photos from the shoot in an Instagram post.

“ME x SCHON MAGAZINE. On career, culture, and showing up as yourself,” Rooks captioned the post.

Barkley’s fiancée, Anna Congdon showed her support by dropping a heart-eyes emoji on the post.

In the interview, Rooks talked about how her love for sports.

“So many of my earliest memories of sports are memories with family,” Rooks said, remembering road trips to Chicago and Champaign with her dad and the vibe of college football.

Rooks mentioned going to games at Michael Jordan’s United Center and watching Michael Vick’s playoff wins. By the time she got to college, Rooks knew she wanted to mix her love for storytelling with the excitement of live games.

Rooks also talked about working in what she calls a “male-heavy” field and not just male-dominated.

Looking ahead, she is helping build NBA on Prime, a new basketball show on Prime Video.

“Building ‘NBA on Prime’ feels like standing at the intersection of everything I’ve worked toward… Everyone involved has a voice in shaping what this becomes.”

Having Dwyane Wade, Dirk Nowitzki, Candace Parker and John Wall on board, Rooks said her goal is to create a show where “information meets personality.”

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley and his fiancée Anna Congdon made it to the guest list of Taylor Rooks’ secret wedding on July 19 in New York City.

Rooks married Shane Fowler with fewer than 200 guests.

Phones were not allowed.

When Taylor Rooks posted about the wedding on Instagram on July 25, Anna Congdon commented:

"Biggest blessings my friend. 🤍✨"

Looking back, Saquon Barkley got engaged to Anna Congdon on February 2, 2025.

Barkley confirmed the engagement in an interview with People magazine.

“I have an amazing fiancée,” Barkley said. “I can't be the athlete I am and have the success I have in my career without the help of her.”

The Eagles star has two children with Congdon. A daughter named Jada (April 2018) and a son named Saquon Jr. (September 2022).
