Isn’t that sweet?
Sabrina Carpenter took a night off from her “Short N’ Sweet” Tour to support an old Disney pal on his latest endeavour.
The “Espresso” singer was photographed joining her “Girl Meets World” co-star Corey Fogelmanis at a Cinema Society screening of his new movie, “I Wish You All The Best,” in New York City Monday night.
The Disney show — which ran for three seasons as a spin-off from the ’90s program “Boy Meets World” — catapulted both Carpenter and Fogelmanis into stardom after it wrapped up in 2017.
The pop star skipped the red carpet, but an insider tells Page Six that she snuck in through a back door to the theater moments before the movie started to sit next to Fogelmanis, 26.
Carpenter, also 26, is set to play four sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden this week.
In “I Wish You All The Best,” Fogelmanis plays a high school junior who comes out as nonbinary and is kicked out of his family’s home.
He moves in with their estranged older sister and finds support and love at their new high school.
The movie is written and directed by “Thirteen Reasons Why” alum Tommy Dorfman, who came out as a trans woman in 2021.
“I hope people take away (from this movie) that we’re all human,” Dorfman told Page Six exclusively. “And that we should all be supporting and loving each other regardless of their identity or anything else. We should really be giving each other space to find autonomy and confidence.”
Dorfman, however, admitted that things are worse for trans people since the movie was made two years ago.
“My hope is that this movie coming out in 2025 has a larger impact on changing the social understanding of queer youth as a whole,” she added, “and instead of fearmongering, learning how to support us and love us and cherish us because that’s what we deserve.”
Others at the Lionsgate premiere and party at Club Bohemia at Gitano included Lena Dunham, Amy Landecker, Alexandra Daddario, David Burtka, Richard Schiff and “Mayor of Kingstown” star Bria Condon.
