A former WWE champion was rumored to have walked out of a major wrestling show recently. However, his former co-worker, Karl Anderson, debunked the speculations and revealed the details regarding the situation.

The aforementioned star, who has held three different championships in WWE, is Andrade. The Mexican star has been making headlines, following his breach of his WWE non-compete clause after he showed up in AEW in October, and reportedly being slapped with a year-long ban. However, he can still wrestle and appear in promotions outside the United States. At the same time, he was reported to have walked out of the Crash Lucha Libre event in anger without greeting fans and signing autographs on November 7.

During a recent conversation on the Talk’N Shop podcast, Karl Anderson, who wrestled at the same show, ended the rumors by revealing Andrade was by his side throughout the event and signed a lot of autographs for the fans. Moreover, Anderson also added that after the signings, the former WWE superstar went backstage and watched him and Luke Gallows win the Crash Lucha Libre Tag Team Championships.

“There were reports that Andrade, the Crash Lucha Libre champion, was there and left in a heap and was angry, and got in trouble and left. I’m here to say that I was there with Andrade, side by side with him, doing the signing, signing with the fans. Lots of incredible fans in Tijuana. I’m telling you, it was so unbelievable to see all the fans. Andrade was right beside me and the Big LG, a friend of mine, someone I’ve known for a long time. With that said, there were reports that he left and he was angry. Not true. Signing was finished. He went backstage. We went backstage. He watched us win the Tijuana Crash Lucha Libre Tag Team Championships.”- H/T Ringside News

Former WWE star Karl Anderson says Andrade's reaction after his match at The Crash Lucha Libre event

In the same interview, Karl Anderson stated that he and Luke Gallows left the show before Andrade. He did not leave the event angry or mad, and even congratulated them backstage on their tag team title victory.

“He watched the whole show. We left before Andrade left. As soon as our match was finished, which was the semi-main event, my friend Tejano was in the main event. With that said, Andrade did not leave in a heap. He didn’t leave angry. He didn’t leave in trouble. He didn’t leave mad. Nothing. He was there the whole show. He was backstage, laughing with people, talking with people, and even hugged us after we won the Crash Lucha Libre Tag Team Championships.”- H/T Ringside News

With the former WWE United States Champion's future uncertain, it remains to be seen when he will return to the squared circle.
