A Judgment Day member is part of an embarrassing record. This was officially confirmed on WWE SmackDown.
This week on WWE RAW, John Cena showed up to address the fans in his final appearance on the red brand. This was a massive deal given his association with the show throughout his legendary career. He was quickly confronted by Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor, and JD McDonagh. A brawl broke out in the ring, which prompted Sheamus and Rey Mysterio to come to the aid of the 17-time World Champion. After the brawl, Cena challenged them to a six-man tag team match. After a hard-fought contest, Cena was able to secure the win for his team by pinning JD McDonagh.
Tonight on WWE SmackDown, Michael Cole even confirmed that JD McDonagh is the final member to ever be pinned by Cena on RAW.
Judgment Day members JD McDonagh and Finn Balor are competing on WWE SmackDown
Finn Balor has been advertised for WWE SmackDown since he will be competing in The Last Time is Now Tournament against Penta. This is a huge opportunity for Balor. Therefore, he didn't show up alone and brought some backup with him in case he needed it.
Ever since Ilja Dragunov won the United States Championship, he has continued to uphold the US Open Challenge that was previously done by Sami Zayn and John Cena. As a result, several stars have answered the challenge in recent weeks. Tonight on the blue brand, JD McDonagh answered the open challenge and faced Ilja Dragunov for the title. A win tonight could be huge for Judgment Day, especially since Dominik Mysterio lost the Intercontinental Championship to Cena recently.
It remains to be seen if Finn Balor and JD McDonagh will have their names in the winners' columns tonight after their respective matches.
