The Savannah Bananas played at the home field of the Kansas City Royals on Friday night.
A Royals legend decided to make a cameo.
Out there on the field, rocking No. 35, was Eric Hosmer.
He looked a bit different in bright yellow, but it was definitely the Royals' World Series champion and former star.
Hosmer not only hit and played first base in the game. He also pitched.
We’ve all known I been washed at the plate for a while now but you can’t tell me the heater didn’t have life!! @TheSavBananas https://t.co/lkSxJXTXb8

Hosmer was once the No. 3 overall pick by the Royals. He was a much-hyped prospect before reaching the majors.
In MLB, he was four Gold Gloves, an All-Star Game MVP and that 2015 World Series.
Hosmer also appeared for the Padres, Cubs and Red Sox before he retired.
He finished his MLB career as a .276 hitter (.284 with KC) and 198 home runs.
Hosmer is now quite active on social media, continuing to display his passion for baseball in the content he shares.
