A recently released WWE star delivered a message to AEW president Tony Khan following the latest episode of Dynamite. The former WWE talent's name was briefly seen during the show, which caused a stir on social media.

One of the fan signs seen on screen during a special episode of Dynamite "Blood and Guts" stated, "We Want BJ Ray." For those unaware, BJ Ray was a contestant on LFG's first two seasons under coach Bubba Ray Dudley. He has a natural personality for a top heel in pro wrestling but still lacked the in-ring skills.

BJ Ray was released from his contract on October 10, along with multiple talents from NXT, Evolve, LFG and WWE ID. He saw the recent fan sign at Dynamite and retweeted the post while also calling on Tony Khan to give the people what they want to see.

"@TonyKhan shall we give them people what they want?!" BJ Ray tweeted.

WWE released BJ Ray while he was recovering from surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff and labrum. He wasn't the only talent in the same situation since Karl Anderson and Ridge Holland were also both injured when they were let go by the biggest wrestling company in the world.

It will be interesting to see if Tony Khan expresses interest in signing the former LFG talent once he fully recovers from his injury.

Chris Jericho makes curious comments about Tony Khan's promotion

It's no secret that Chris Jericho is likely making his WWE return soon. Tony Khan also seemingly confirmed it after saying that Jericho will always be welcome to return to AEW even though he's technically still under contract.

Speaking on a recent episode of Talk is Jericho, The Ocho claimed that TNA Wrestling looked like the second-biggest wrestling company in the world at Bound for Glory compared to AEW during its show at the ECW Arena.

"I was watching (BFG) and, not saying anything out of school here, but comparing it to watching Dynamite when they were at the ECW Arena, which looked like a Tony Condello taping. Sorry, it did. TNA looked like the second biggest company in the world, and that was amazing. And the presentation was amazing," Jericho said. [H/T Sports Illustrated]

With the Royal Rumble right around the corner, it's one of the rumored dates for Jericho's return to WWE after seven years.
