Tactical Equipment plays an important role in Black Ops 7 Zombies, and it has been a significant part of all previous Zombies titles. Why is it so crucial, you may wonder, since in the initial rounds, you might think you can easily progress because the zombies are weaker and the spawn rates are low. However, as you continue, the zombies become harder and you may be overwhelmed. This is where the Tactical Equipment plays its role: it can help you with diverting and disorienting zombies and assist you in coming out alive from dying scenarios.
Not all Tactical Equipment is unlocked by default; you need to level up to access it all.
This article will provide all the important information regarding Tactical Equipment in Black Ops 7 Zombies.

However, if you are new, here is a brief explanation: Before you start your Zombies match, you must select a loadout. In your custom loadout, you can choose your primary and secondary weapons, one Tactical Equipment item, one Lethal Equipment item, a Field Upgrade, and a GobbleGum pack.
Specifically, when looking at the Tactical Equipment selection in the loadout menu, you will not find two of the seven items. You can equip one of the remaining five items (Stun Grenade, Stim Shot, Psych Grenade, Hunter Bot, and Decoy) on your loadout, but those specific two items (Cymbal Monkey and LT53 Kazimir) can only be purchased inside your match via the Crafting Table with the required Salvage.
Here are all the Tactical Equipment items along with the unlock criteria:
| Tactical Equipment | Unlock criteria | Salvage required (if crafted inside match via Crafting Table) |
| Stun Grenade | Default unlock | 250 Salvage |
| Decoy Grenade | Default unlock | 500 Salvage |
| Stim Shot | Reach Player level 21 | 250 Salvage |
| Cymbal Monkey | Reach Player level 24 | 1000 Salvage |
| Psych Grenade | Reach Player level 29 | 800 Salvage |
