A popular current WWE champion recently took to social media to send a message after his match ended controversially. The name in question is the current NXT North American Champion, Ethan Page.
At AAA Guerra de Titanes, Ethan Page locked horns with El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. for the AAA Latin American Title. Page was hoping to become a triple champion as he already holds the WWE NXT North American Championship and the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship.
All Ego's dreams came true for a few seconds as he defeated his opponent by hitting him with a screwdriver while the referee was distracted. However, after the finish, Mr. Iguana came out to tell the official about the banned object. The referee then controversially put his hand in Page's trunks to take out the screwdriver. Ethan was immediately stripped of the title, and the match was restarted, which ultimately ended in favor of El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr.
A furious Ethan Page has now taken to X/Twitter to send a message after the controversial finish to his match at AAA Guerra de Titanes. Page uploaded a pic of the referee taking out the screwdriver from his trunks and wrote that he was going to sue AAA.
