Jey Uso was questioned on social media about whether he had been hanging around with Bron Breakker. This led him to change the name of the spear, a move he had commonly used, and other members of the Bloodline family tree.
Jey recently reunited with his brother Jimmy Uso on Monday Night RAW. The Usos were victorious over The New Day, with Jey hitting Xavier Woods with a brutal spear on the outside.
On X, the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion made a minor adjustment to the name of the move, calling it the "Hood spear".

Dutch Mantell on WWE possibly giving up on Jey Uso's push
Dutch Mantell spoke about Jey Uso's character potentially becoming stale. He recalled that back in the day, during the territory days, superstars would move on after a few months to keep their gimmick fresh.
Speaking on Story Time with Dutch Mantell, the veteran had this to say:
"Back in the day, when a guy got stale, it was time for him to go." He continued, "I think, since he's been there so long, nothing to do with his talent, nothing to do with his ability to have a good match, nothing. It's just that the fans have just worn out on him. I think they've figures it out now. They're gonna turn him bad guy to see what they can get out of him. Most of the time, people have that figured out. And even if they turn him back, it doesn't make a difference."The Usos have already expressed their interest in challenging AJ Styles and Dragon Lee for the WWE World Tag Team Championships. The twins haven't held the tag team titles for a while and could challenge the current champions down the road now that they're back together.
