Last year, Max Verstappen put up a show in Sao Paulo after winning the race from 17th on the grid. With the F1 paddock rolling up to the South American nation for the Brazilian GP, F1 reminisced about the race 12 months ago, and the Red Bull team dropped a two-word comment on the Dutchman's comeback drive.
Arriving at the 2024 Brazilian GP, Verstappen and Lando Norris seemed to be in contention for the drivers' title. With the reigning champion starting 17th and Norris beginning the race from pole position, it was regarded as one of the best opportunities for the Briton to gain some ground in the drivers' standings on his rival.
But, come raceday, the fortunes tipped in the favor of Verstappen, who quickly made his way past slower drivers, and by the end of the event, he was comfortably in the lead of the race. This helped him claim his eighth race win of the 2024 season and assert himself in the prime position to win the drivers' crown last year.
So, with the paddock gearing up for the 2025 edition of the Sao Paulo Grand Prix, the F1 account revisited last year's race and posted a reel on Instagram:
Subsequently, Red Bull's admin commented on the post:

The 2024 Brazilian GP is in Max Verstappen's top-10 all-time wins list

This race was even highly regarded by the Dutchman himself for his own performance, but the 2024 race tipped the scales away from his 2016 attempt, as Verstappen said in the post-race conference last year:
"Yeah, I mean, for sure, those two are definitely in my top ten list. But this one is definitely much more crucial than back in the day. There I had nothing to lose. I was not in a championship fight and I was coming from the back after the strategic mistake we had. Now there was a lot more at stake. So I had to be more controlled, more aware of the championship. So for me, definitely this one is the best one."Meanwhile, if Max Verstappen ends up winning this year's race in Brazil, this could help him supercharge his bid for the drivers' title. He currently has a 36-point deficit to Lando Norris in the standings, and if the papaya duo concedes several points over the next few race weekends, then the Dutchman can possibly make a comeback in the drivers' championship.
