The Baltimore Ravens' offseason has seen the franchise make some key moves for Jesse Minter with the signing of Trey Hendrickson, the big one.
But often times it isn't the big name that fans cling to during the year, other times it is the players not many thought would be productive.
Given the Ravens' defense needs vast improvement from a year ago, the franchise made the shrewd move to sign veteran defensive end Calais Campbell.
A move that Bill Barnwell of ESPN loves.
"The ageless wonder continues to amaze. Campbell isn't quite the two-way force he was earlier in his career, but he continues to make an impact as a situational tackle, especially as a pass rusher," Barnwell wrote.
"Defenses can stretch him at times when they force the 39-year-old to move laterally, but Campbell is a threat to get into the backfield on any passing down. That's a really valuable player to have in your rotation for $5 million, and Campbell offers good support if Nnamdi Madubuike isn't able to start the season on the active roster."

Can Calais be productive for Minter?
Absolutely, he can, and as odd as it sounds, at the ripe age of 39, we can nearly expect him to be productive. Why?
In each of the last three years, Campbell has played all 17 regular-season games and has had at least 5.0 sacks in each season.
If the Ravens can get that out of Campbell, that would be ideal.
Of course, Father Time always wins, but right now, Campbell, in a limited capacity, is holding it off.
