On Thursday night, Stafford and Los Angeles agreed on a one-year, $55 million extension with the team. The quarterback is now inked for two more seasons, according to Adam Schefter.

While Stafford’s new deal is a nice sum, he still is outside the league’s top 10 highest-paid quarterbacks. For the third season in a row, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott will make a position-high $60 million, with four quarterbacks right behind him at $55 million.

Heading into his 18th season, Stafford is 38 years old. The current Rams quarterback was born on February 7, 1988.
