Psi Aeterna IV is the new Rocket Assisted Pulse Rifle in Destiny 2 Renegades. After an overwhelming usage numbers of the Mint Retrogade Rocket Assisted Pulse in The Edge of Fate, the following expansion has a same weapon type which is much more accessible. This time, the new Pulse Rifle shoots out Arc damage with powerful perks to synergize with its matching elemental abilities.

Here is a list of perks recommended for the new Psi Aeterna IV Pulse Rifle in PvE:

  • Volatile Launch for increased Blast Radius at the cost of reduced Velocity and Handling.
  • High Explosive Ordnance for increased projectile speed and Blast Radius.
  • Reverberation for increased explosion AOE with kills.
  • Rolling Storm for gaining Bolt Charge with kills. Increased charges will be granted under the Amplified Arc buff.

One for All is a great damage perk to have in the fourth column, alongside Beacon Rounds for a Quality of Life against enemy groups.

Here is a list of perks recommended for the new Psi Aeterna IV Pulse Rifle in PvP:

  • Hard Launch for increased projectile speed.
  • High Velocity Rounds for more projectile speed.
  • Reverberation for increased explosion AOE with kills.
  • Adrenaline Junkie for increased damage after kills with either the weapon or Grenade.

One for All can be used as damage in PvP as well, alongside Eddy Current for increased Handling and reload speed in 6v6 scenarios.


How to get Psi Aeterna IV in Destiny 2

Psi Aeterna IV can be farmed from Portal activities, such as the Solo, Fireteam, and the Arena Ops. You can also complete the Renegades activities in the Lawless Frontiers, and get the weapon as a drop.
