Met Gala 2025: Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas' Love Is Burnin’ Up the Red Carpet
Priyanka Chopra’s daughter Malti Chopra Jonas was ready to be the head of set.
The 3-year-old—whom Priyanka shares with husband Nick Jonas—apparently loved sticking close to her mom while the actress filmed her new movie Heads of State alongside John Cena and Idris Elba.
“She was with me while filming this whole movie,” Priyanka told E! News at the film’s June 24 premiere in New York City. “We were on location in Provence, and while she was on set she and her grandma would go to this bakery to get croissants and bring them home. She had the most amazing time while we were filming this movie.”
In fact, Malti “loved the set” so much that she even knew about craft services, referring to it as “crafty.”

The Quantico alum also shed light on what just attracted her to her role as MI6 agent Noelle. And it wasn’t just the opportunity to play opposite the towering—literally and figuratively—figures of John and Idris as they took on roles as President of the United States and U.K. Prime Minister, respectively.

“It was really funny on the page,” Priyanka noted. “And I really liked the dynamic of John Cena, Idris Elba, and me at 5-foot-6 nothing, trying to tell them what to do. I just thought that was hilarious, and I think that comes across in the movie.”
But amid all the excitement of her premiere and what the Baywatch alum referred to as a “big first half of the year,” she’s looking forward to some family time with Nick and Malti this summer.
“I’m so excited, we’re going away on holiday to an undisclosed location,” she revealed. “It’s going to be fun, I’m really looking forward to it. We’re looking forward to getting some away time.”
And hopefully, they’ll get in some time with the members of their sprawling family tree, including Kevin Jonas and wife Danielle Jonas’ two daughters Alena, 11, and Valentina, 8, as well as Joe Jonas and daughters Willa, 4, and Delphine, 2, whom the DNCE singer shares with ex-wife Sophie Turner.

“We don’t get together too often just because everyone has very busy lives,” Priyanka explained of family reunions, “but when we do get together it’s just wonderful. All the girls get along really well and we’re just like a big ole family. We love it.”
