The Toronto Maple Leafs are on the road to play the Columbus Blue Jackets on Wednesday, October 29 at 7:30 p.m. ET.
Toronto (5-4-1) is coming off a 4-3 win over Calgary on Tuesday. Ahead of their road game and second-half of the back-to-back, here is what the Maple Leafs' lines are projected to look like.
Maple Leafs' projected lines
Forwards
- Bobby McMann - Auston Matthews - William Nylander
- Matthew Knies - John Tavares - Matias Maccelli
- Dakota Joshua - Nic Roy - Easton Cowan
- Steven Lorentz - Max Domi - Nick Robertson
Toronto rallied to get a win at home on Tuesday as William Nylander returned to the lineup.
The Maple Leafs got two goals each from Matthew Knies and Max Domi as Toronto is trying to spread out its offense.
"We won today, so nothing else matters, man,” Domi said. “You’re not going to get much in terms of individual stuff. That stuff is so irrelevant. It’s a long season. We need everyone, so every night there is going to be someone else that steps up, get some bounces, but we are a group that relies on every single guy in this room and I think everyone was going tonight.”Defense
- Oliver Ekman-Larsson - Brandon Carlo
- Simon Benoit - Jake McCabe
- Morgan Rielly - Philippe Myers
The Maple Leafs are still without Chris Tanev, who's dealing with an injury. Myers is playing with Rielly, who struggled on Tuesday and will look to get back on track.
Goalies
- Cayden Primeau
- Anthony Stolarz
Primeau will get the start in the second half of the back-to-back as Stolarz got the win on Monday.
Primeau is 2-0 with a 3.46 GAA and a .875 SV% this season. He's 2-1 with a 1.77 GAA and a .946 SV% in his career against Columbus.
This could be one of the final starts for Primeau as Joseph Woll has returned to the team and is starting to practice.
