A popular star has hinted at frustration with WWE. This week on RAW, fans saw some of the top stars in action as we head towards Saturday Night's Main Event at the weekend.

The Megastar was also present on the show and delivered a promo, promising to become the World Heavyweight Champion and waiting for whoever wins the Title bout between Jey Uso and CM Punk.

However, later in the show he lost clean to Bron Breakker. This booking decision raises questions over WWE's plans for him and adds to the latest series of disappointments.

Last week, he was eliminated from the Battle Royal to determine CM Punk’s opponent for the vacant World Title. Eventually, Jey Uso emerged victorious in that contest. It now appears that Knight might be unhappy with his creative direction.

As he walked down the ramp before his match with Breakker on Monday, Knight spotted a sign in the crowd. He then took the sign from the fan that read, "We want LA Knight, not Jey." He showed the sign to the camera and said, “Can’t argue with it.”

This could be interpreted as Knight showing his intensity before his match, or it could be the former U.S. Champion's way of subtly expressing his frustration with WWE overlooking him.

Knight hasn't won a championship since losing the U.S. Title at WrestleMania 41 to Jacob Fatu. While he has floundered around the upper mid-card and main event, the promotion is yet to pull the trigger on him despite the support from fans.

Jey Uso's win wasn't well received by WWE fans online

The Stamford-based promotion posted the video of Jey Uso winning the Battle Royal on YouTube, and safe to say, they didn't expect the response.

After online backlash against the decision, the YouTube video of Jey's win had over 40,000 dislikes in less than a day. This doesn't bode well for the former World Heavyweight Champion.

However, according to reports, these dislikes won't deter WWE's booking strategy in the coming weeks.

Sherjeel Malik is a writer at Sportskeeda and covers pro wrestling. He was hooked on the product from the moment he saw The Hardy Boyz jumping off ladders during the Attitude Era. While he comes from an engineering background, Sherjeel’s love for pro wrestling and content writing led him to pursue a career in sports journalism. Before assuming his current role at Sportskeeda, Sherjeel worked at other reputable organizations for five years.

While writing articles, he ensures that he only relies on credible sources for information and covers relevant subjects that do not project an agenda against a particular person or association. WWE legend Paul Heyman once shared Sherjeel’s work on his social media handle.

Sherjeel’s earliest memory of pro wrestling is watching Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Undertaker square off for the WWE Title in the main event of a pay-per-view in 1998. His favorite wrestlers are Randy Orton and Jeff Hardy. While he admires Orton for his character work as a heel, he looks up to Jeff because of his unique wrestling style and risk-taking ability.

If he could go back to the Attitude Era, Sherjeel would like to manage Ken Shamrock and be his mouthpiece. He feels Shamrock’s promo skills prevented him from becoming a main event-level act in WWE. Hence, he would like to help the UFC Hall of Famer get over with fans.

When not writing about pro wrestling, he likes to read classics and fiction books.
