The Dallas Cowboys made waves by trading for one of the most polarizing wide receivers in the league, George Pickens.
After three seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pickens is getting a change of scenery and will be paired with star receiver CeeDee Lamb in Dallas. Pickens has 174 receptions for 2,841 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns across his first three seasons in Pittsburgh, but will now get the chance to play with star quarterback Dak Prescott.
Pickens is one of the most polarizing players in the league due to off-field issues and high-profile penalties resulting in fines. Despite this, Pickens was named the Cowboys' most dangerous new addition this offseason by Bleacher Report's Brent Sobleski.
"Quarterback Dak Prescott has been smiling from ear to ear thanks to the Dallas Cowboys' acquisition of wide receiver George Pickens in a trade from the Pittsburgh Steelers," Sobleski wrote.
"The Cowboys desperately needed a second threat at wide receiver after Lamb led the league in targets over the last two seasons. Although, the Steelers unloaded their leading receiver over that same stretch for a reason (or two). Pickens must enter Dallas' locker room with a team-first mentality. If that happens, this group can torch opposing defenses."

Pickens is an incredibly talented wide receiver despite the negative perception he receives at times. The 24-year-old is an explosive, deep ball threat who should complement Lamb's skill set and help the Cowboys' offense succeed, especially with Prescott returning after missing half of last season with an injury.
