PMGC 2025 Grand Finals Day 3: Smash Rule, teams, and schedule

The third and final day of the Grand Finals of the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2025 will be held on December 14. The 16 finalists will engage each other in the Smash Rule format on Day 3. Alpha7 Esports from Brazil is leading the overall points table after Day 2. DRX from South Korea and Alpha Gaming from Malaysia have secured their seats in the top three.

The PMGC 2025 features a total of 40 teams worldwide. 16 teams are competing in the Grand Finals for the title. The event, being held in Thailand, boasts a whopping prize pool of $3,000,000. This is the sixth edition of the PUBG Mobile Global Championship, and the seventh edition will be played in Turkey next year.

PMGC 2025 Finals Day 3 Smash Rule format

The Smash Rule will be used on the third day of the PMGC 2025 Finals. The Target Match Point is 150 points (top team’s points after 12 games + 10 points). The first team to win a Chicken Dinner after crossing the Target Match Points (125) will lift the trophy.

If any team fails to secure a Chicken Dinner after hitting the Match Point, the winner will be determined based on the overall standings. A maximum of six games will be played on Day 3.

Schedule for PMGC 2025 Finals Day 3

The first game of the third day is planned on the Rondo map. The second, third, and fourth matches are set in Erangel. The fifth and sixth encounters are scheduled in Miramar.

Here is the schedule for Day 3:

• Match 14 - Erangel - 5:10 pm IST
• Match 15 - Erangel - 6:00 pm IST

Overall standings after PMGC 2025 Finals Day 2

Alpha7 has scored 115 points with the help of two Chicken Dinners and 64 eliminations. DRX ranks second with 97 points and two Chicken Dinners. Alpha Gaming has claimed the third position with 89 points and one Chicken Dinner.

Turkish clubs Regnum and ULF rank fourth and fifth with 84 and 82 points, respectively. Defending champions Dplus is 10th with 62 points and two Chicken Dinners, while ThunderTalk from China is 12th with 62 points. Vampire and Kara have collected only 37 points each after their 12 games of the PMGC Finals.
