The Pittsburgh Steelers are playing the waiting game with veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Well, it's more like Rodgers is leading the waiting game for the Steelers.
Everybody is waiting to see if Rodgers will sign with the Steelers, play elsewhere, or call it a career after a long time in the NFL.
Still, Derek Carr's retirement meant the New Orleans Saints are another option for Rodgers if he does want to play in 2025.
At this point, nobody knows, although many theories have surfaced regarding when a Rodgers decision will to light in one way or another. NFL insider Mike Florio stated earlier in the week that a Rodgers decision is coming "sooner than later" and he even hinted at it maybe being this week around the same time as the NFL schedule release.
On Monday, another dropped, this time from Pittsburgh radio host Chris Mueller. During an episode of the show on Monday, Andrew Fillipponi revealed that Mueller dropped a big hint.
"The Steelers are making a big announcement tomorrow. And I believe it's that they're signing Aaron Rodgers."

Rumors swirled over the weekend that Rodgers had joined a Pittsburgh golf club, although that was quickly debunked.
Either way, it is no secret the Steelers need a quarterback. Moreover, it wouldn't be surprising to see Rodgers play one more year, draw all the spotlight himself, and throw passes to a Steelers offense that now has DK Metcalf in the WR room.
Only time will tell.
