Chris Evert shared an endearing snap of her son, Nicholas, and her grandson, Hayden, spending an adorable moment at the beach. The former tennis player became a grandmother in May 2024.

Evert has been married three times in her life; however, she has only had kids with the Olympic skier Andy Mill. He was her second husband, and they welcomed three kids, Alexander, Colton, and Nicholas, into their family. Her family extended after Nicholas and his wife, Rebecca, welcomed their son, Hayden.

The former World No. 1 often shares glimpses of her grandson. Most recently, she posted a cute picture of her son Nicholas and Hayden spending quality time together at the beach. Taking to her Instagram, she uploaded the picture and expressed her love for them in the caption that read:

"Love❤️these two..."

Earlier this year, in February, Evert shared another heartfelt moment of her son and her grandson. She shared a picture of Nicholas hugging his son adorably on her Instagram handle. The post's caption read:

Chris Evert made her feelings known about her expanding family

Chris Evert sat for an interview with BNPParibas.com in February this year, where she opened up about her expanding family. She expressed her love for her daughter-in-law, Rebecca, by calling her the 'daughter she never had.' In addition to this, she also revealed the joy of becoming a grandmother.

"Well, first of all, my daughter in law is the daughter that I always wanted. I mean, she's perfect. My grandchild Hayden is, wow, again, I never everyone kept saying, ‘Wait until you have a grandchild.’ I thought nothing can top having a child," Chris Evert said.

She added:

"But having a grandchild is double the fun, because you're also seeing your son being a father. Your child has become a father. Then I have this little grandson. It's wonderful. I will be, for sure, a fun grandmother. I will right around as long as I can."

She further revealed what her grandson would call her.

"Well, we haven't figured that out yet. I'm going to let him figure it out. We have so many different names, you know: Nana, Gammy, Grandma. Just so many names. I'm, like, I want him to naturally come out with something."
