Vegas, 40, remains the man to beat in the clubhouse. The four-time PGA Tour winner posted an 8-under on Thursday and Friday and looks well on his way to improving upon his best-ever major tournament finish.
Quail Hollow can change on a knife's edge. Justin Thomas overcame a six-stroke deficit to capture gold at the glistening venue back in 2017. As such, no advantage, even one as well-manicured as Vegas', is impenetrable.
