The Pittsburgh Penguins have secured the signature of a former first-round pick officially into their organization.
On Sunday, the Penguins announced that Bill Zonnon has signed a three-year deal.
Zonnon was a first-round pick by the Penguins in the 2025 NHL Draft, the 22nd overall selection.
He has played this season in the QMJHL for the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada.
For the Armada, Zonnon has played in 36 games and has 46 points, which break down as 14 goals and 32 assists.

Zonnon missed 29 games at the start of this season with injury but has settled in to prove he is still a promising prospect.
The Penguins shared that Zonnon is 11th in the QMJHL in points per game (1.31).
Zonnon is into the playoffs with the Armada which begin this upcoming week against the Victoriaville Tigres.
Just 19 years old, Zonnon is in his fourth season in the QMJHL and has 226 points in 230 career games at that level.
Zonnon is originally from Montreal in Quebec.
He played for Team Canada at the World U-17 tourney in 2023.
Zonnon won't be rushed by the Penguins, with his entry-level contract beginning in 2026-27 and running through 2028-29.
But it's great to know for Pittsburgh that they have this solid worker joining the organization to push the whole system in the right direction.
