Oregon Ducks senior guard Jackson Shelstad announced his intentions to enter the NCAA transfer portal on Tuesday.
Shelstad has been a consistent bright spot for an Oregon team that has been on a progressive track over the last three seasons, averaging 12.8 ppg and 13.7 ppg in his first two full seasons with the program. He also helped lead the Ducks to two straight NCAA Tournament appearances in 2024 and 2025.
— Transfer Portal (@TransferPortal) March 24, 2026Unfortunately for both sides, Shelstad suffered a season-ending hand injury during the 2025-26 campaign that held him to just 12 games played, where he averaged 15.6 ppg, 4.9 apg, and 2.9 rpg.

Shelstad is a former 5-star recruit out of Portland and was named to the All-Big Ten third team during his sophomore season.
Oregon finished their year going 12-20 and 5-14 in the 19 games that Shelstad missed this season.
