Black Panther was a predator on the hunt for prey when ONE Championship returned to Bangkok, Thailand, for its latest American primetime spectacle this past Friday, Nov. 7.

The Team Mehdi Zatout striker went toe-to-toe with Colombian martial arts star Johan Estupinan in a bantamweight Muay Thai clash in search of a fourth triumph in succession on the global stage of the promotion.

He started the slower of the two, though. 'Panda Kick' brought his usual out-of-the-box attacks at the start of the opening frame, but it did little to ruffle any feathers.

The Thai standout absorbed punishing straights, body shots, hooks, and crosses. But as soon as Estupinan was done with his combos, Black Panther responded with high kicks that drew an instant reaction from the organization's first-ever Colombian fighter.

His speed allowed him to dart in and out of the box, and by the end of the opening frame, it was the Team Mehdi Zatout star who connected with better accuracy. The orthodox fighter continued to time his attacks well against the southpaw stylist as the first round came to a close.

While he may have had his work cut out in the opening stanza, Black Panther saved his best efforts for the second frame. The Thai gave the JCFernandez and Team CSK athlete room to advance, but he made him pay with crisp counters.

He earned the first knockdown off a short right just as Estupinan missed with a huge kick. When the match resumed, the 25-year-old locked his foe in the clinch and stalked him behind his right fist.

More combinations followed. And it all came at the speed of light. Once more, just as 'Panda Kick' left himself open off a salvo of strikes, the Thai sunk in a short right elbow for the second eight-count.

Estupinan may have answered the count, but he wouldn't last for much longer. Black Panther went in for the spectacular with 90 seconds of the second frame remaining, and he was rewarded with the third and final knockdown via a volley of shots that dropped the Colombian face-first onto the canvas.

Official result: Black Panther defeats Johan Estupinan via TKO at 1:29 of round two

With the 22nd knockout victory of his career inside the Mecca of Muay Thai, Black Panther upped his overall resume to 80-17.

The 25-year-old may have looked in trouble at the start of the fight, but he brought out a totally new game plan in the second frame to stun the Colombian slugger.

Every tool of his 'Art of Eight Limbs' arsenal was on point, and he made sure the ever-confident Estupinan paid the price whenever he left himself open after throwing in brutally fierce combos.
