OG Anunoby believes the Knicks must make massive improvements to get back to winning games

The New York Knicks have struggled in the past few weeks. Over their last 17 games, they only had a 7-10 record, which is a bad look for a team that is supposed to be a championship contender.

Before the season even started, the Knicks and the Cleveland Cavaliers were projected contenders. Now, they are both struggling to meet expectations, as they are struggling in the Eastern Conference standings.

Anunoby knows the Knicks have a lot of work to do

The Knicks are currently in a three-game losing streak, which is still a small stretch of the big picture. They have struggled since they won the NBA Cup Final against the San Antonio Spurs, which was over a month ago now.

Players like OG Anunoby know that the Knicks are struggling and have a lot of room for improvement. Thankfully for the Knicks, they did a great job earlier in the season to boost their place in the East.

However, they are quickly sliding down the standings now. They are still in the third seed with a 25-17 record, but the Toronto Raptors are only half a game behind them. That is why Anunoby and other Knicks want to bounce back.

"I think everything. You can always get better at everything. Even if we were winning games, we would still be trying to improve everything," Anunoby said after another Knicks loss.

It has not been the best stretch for the Knicks, but they do still have a promising roster. With head coach Mike Brown, they have an accomplished leader to guide them. However, he should also be concerned.

He has said that he is not that concerned just yet, but he needs to take this seriously if he wants the Knicks to win. The potential is there, but he needs to unlock it if they want to win games and compete for a title.
