Mercedes Mone is one of the top female wrestlers in the world. She recently dropped a huge comment on her future.
Mercedes Mone has been on an incredible run for the past 18 months. It all started with her winning the TBS Championship. Following this, she went on to win titles across several promotions around the world. The CEO has looked unstoppable in the ring. However, she has been having a difficult time as of late. She lost the ROH Women's World Television Title to Red Velvet at Final Battle 2025. This week on Collision, she defended the RevPro Undisputed British Women's Title against Alex Windsor and lost again.
Following this loss, a fan took to social media to say that this marked the 'end of an era' for RevPro Wrestling. However, the AEW star quickly dismissed this, saying that she loves being the CEO of RevPro.

AEW has had an incredible year in 2025. The company has delivered several spectacular shows and matches. Therefore, when Sports Illustrated announced the winners of their 2025 wrestling awards, every accolade was won by the Jacksonville-based promotion. Mercedes Mone was named female wrestler of the year, while Hangman Page won male wrestler of the year.
Tony Khan took to social media to thank the fans and journalists for this huge accomplishment.
"On behalf of AEW, thank you fans who watch AEW, and thanks to the journalists’ panel that voted @AEW as top company + recognized 8 top AEW stars, with AEW winning a total of 10 @SInow Wrestling Awards in 2025! Congratulations award winners + team AEW on these hard-earned awards!," he wrote.The CEO also had an interesting response to Tony Khan's message on social media. She posted a cartoon GIF of her smoking a joint.
It remains to be seen if AEW will be able to continue its good run into 2026.
