Why Benchmark International Arena is a strong March Madness stop

Benchmark International Arena last hosted men's March Madness 15 years ago, but it's lost nothing within that time, hosting last season's women's Final Four.

Formerly known as Amalie Arena, the Tampa venue hosts all kinds of sporting and entertainment events, including college volleyball, NBA, combat sports and even concerts. It's home to the NHL's Lightning, so it's even seen a few Stanley Cup victories.

Not convincing enough? Benchmark International Arena is just a block away from the convention center, the aquarium, the history center, hotels and restaurants and even overlooks the Garrison Channel so you can go on a water-side walk before some basketball.
