As the countdown to the 2025 UEFA Champions League final hits fever pitch, the predictions are flying. But few have made their pick with as much passion as Oscar-winning actress and football entrepreneur Natalie Portman

Portman, speaking on Canal+, made a bold statement: “PSG has got it. The team is better than ever!” She didn’t hesitate. She’s backing Paris Saint-Germain to beat Inter Milan in Munich on May 31.

Portman isn’t just another celebrity weighing in. She’s a co-owner of Angel City FC in the NWSL and a lifelong football follower.

Her connection to PSG runs deep. At the 2024 Ballon d’Or ceremony in Paris, she revealed that her whole family are fans of the French club.

She gave credit where it's due. “Everything I know about football, my son teaches me,” Portman said. “He says the exit of all these big stars has made the young players come together like never before. So I think it’s going to work!”

Portman's prediction lands at a time when PSG are enjoying a tactical and mental shift which was there to see in their 3–1 win over Arsenal on aggregate in the semifinals. PSG are eyeing their 1st ever UCL title, a trophy that has remained elusive for quite some time.

Inter Milan, meanwhile, pulled off a thriller. They beat Barcelona (7-6) in one of the greatest semifinal battles in recent memory. The Italian giants last won the UCL in 2010.
