The Hurt Syndicate has been a formidable faction in AEW since their reunion in Tony Khan's company. Amidst their roaring momentum, MVP namedropped a former WWE champion who could join the stable in the future.
The aforementioned star, who is a former WWE RAW Tag Team Champion, is Cedric Alexander. He was part of the faction during their tenure in WWE as The Hurt Business. While Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, and MVP reunited in AEW in 2024, Alexander chose to pursue his own path and is currently a part of TNA Wrestling.
In an interview with Adventure Gamers, MVP stated that The Hurt Syndicate would love to have Cedric Alexander join them again. However, if that could not happen, they still would be open to adding a fourth member to their ranks, but the Franchise Playa made it clear that it could not be a random star.
“We’d love to have Cedric Alexander back. But that’s above my pay grade. But if Cedric’s not available, or for some reason we can’t have Cedric, there are a few other guys that we’ve talked about amongst ourselves that we’d like to have. But the issue with The Hurt Syndicate is that our relationship is organic. So you can’t just throw some random guy with us that we don’t vibe with because then that throws off the whole group."- [H/T: Ringside News]Is Rhea a Bigger Draw Than Brock Lesnar? - Watch Here!
