Travis Kelce is currently playing the 13th season of his NFL career. The Kansas City Chiefs' tight end turned 36 on Oct. 5, and there have been speculations about his retirement ever since the Chiefs lost Super Bowl LIX to the Philadelphia Eagles.

The 10-time Pro Bowler addressed the media ahead of the Chiefs' game against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday and talked about his plans.

"I think, you know, seeing my brother go through it and seeing how the league works, you know, this season kind of restarts in April," Kelce said while speaking to reporters on Friday. "I want to give the Chiefs a good opportunity, whether I come back or not, vice versa, like whether they want me back or not."

"It's one of those things I'd like to make that decision before they gotta get draft picks in and free agency opens, so that gives them an opportunity to go out there and fill the roster appropriately. So all that will be at the end of this season. I won't think about it until then."

Travis Kelce gets brutally honest about Chiefs' offense

The Chiefs lost 22-19 to the Denver Broncos in the Week 11 game and fell to 5-5. Their divisional domination seems to be over and their playoff hopes are hanging by a thread. Travis Kelce was furious with the offensive unit following the loss.

The tight end said there were a bunch of flags all over the place, and they gave away too many penalties. He called procedural penalties the most frustrating thing ever. Kelce urged the offense to put up some points on the board to help the defense.
