Maddyn Greenway's name was already written forever in the lore of Minnesota high school basketball.

Now? It's among the immortals.

The Providence Academy superstar has surpassed 5,000 points in her legendary high school career.

She entered Friday night needing just five points to reach the mark. Naturally, she dropped 37.

A Kentucky commit, Greenway has been a standout player pretty much from the moment she took to the varsity basketball floor.

Greenway scored 504 points as a seventh-grader on varsity.

It was 783 points as an eighth-grader.

In 32 games as a freshman, she broke 1K for the first time with 1,019 points.

As a sophomore, Greenway had 1,098 points.

And it was 1,050 points as a junior to set this season up.

This season, Greenway is averaging about 34 points per game while also grabbing more than six rebounds, dishing out eight assists and swiping six steals per contest.

Greenway has already won four state basketball titles, two state soccer titles and a state championship in the 300-meter hurdles.

Sounds like there's still time for more scoring and more winning.
