The Michigan Wolverines are coming off their first National Championship since 1989 by defeating the UConn Huskies 69-63 on Monday night. Dusty May's team ended the Big Ten's 26-year title drought, but will be looking for an encore.
The Wolverines also become the first team with an all-transfer starting five to win a championship. After finishing 37-3, they'll need to replace the production of several stars, including Yaxel Lendeborg and Aday Mara, Morez Johnson and others. Thus why Michigan's coaches were in the transfer portal while in the locker room following the title game.
Here's where things stand with the Wolverines in the transfer portal.
According to On3, Michigan has no movement in the first day of the transfer portal.
