The Miami Heat are headed into the Play-In Tournament as a struggling team. They have done well to overcome all types of obstacles before, but this season has been a long struggle for the players and Erik Spoelstra's coaching staff.

Tyler Herro, the team's star shooting guard, has been vocal about the Heat's struggles this season. After the Heat's 128-114 loss to the Toronto Raptors on Thursday, it seems the coaching staff has done a lot just to resolve some of the issues.

Tyler Herro on how the Miami Heat's coaching staff struggles this season

At the start of the season, the Heat were playing exciting basketball. They were playing fast-paced basketball, which was at a blistering pace compared to other teams around the league.

Spoelstra felt he had found a new model for the team that could have led to them being a postseason giant again. Unfortunately, the season has been filled to the brim with struggles.

The Heat have had a rollercoaster season, and that is quite evident in how they have been playing as of late. Herro and Bam Adebayo have been longtime Heat players, but it seems this is one of their lowest points.

"I’m not the coach. I’m not saying ask Spo, but we’ve tried a lot of different things throughout the year, and I’m sure Spo will think about something after tonight. We’ve tried a lot, but I know he’s not going to give up either," Herro said after the loss to Toronto on Thursday.

The future is bleak for the Heat as their season could end in the Play-In Tournament with just one loss. Moving forward, this could be the sign of making a big change because the Heat have not been as successful as they once were.
